Streaming Speedtest

Sustained upload and download measured the way a live encoder sees the link, plus latency and jitter, and the live resolution your uplink can actually push. No signup required.

Streaming speedtest

Sustained download and upload over several parallel streams, plus latency and jitter, measured the way a live encoder sees the link, not a one-shot burst.

No measurement yet. Run the speedtest to measure this connection the way an encoder will use it: from 20 seconds, longer on Soak, no account needed.

Your runs of this tool

Throughput is the median of the final three seconds of a multi-stream run. On Quick the window extends while the rate is still climbing; Standard and Soak hold a fixed window. Upload counts bytes as they leave your browser. The live resolution grades on upload because live streaming is an upload problem. Latency and jitter are round trips to the test server named above, not to your provider.

What to do next

Test the next thing

Throughput is only half the picture. A link can be fast and still unusable if it is unstable under load.

Streaming Connection Diagnostic. Bandwidth, latency, packet loss, jitter, measured in about 20 seconds. Free.
